ONLINE INITIAL SECURITY GUARD INSTRUCTION CLASS
ALL CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Initial Security Guard Instruction class is required to be completed in order to submit application to the State of Hawaii for the GDE License (guard card). This is a one-day class conducted online using ZOOM; we schedule 9-hours to provide for breaks. We suggest you read the information under the “How To Get A Guard Card” tab before registering then scroll this page, select a class date, and complete the application and payment.
CLASS FEE: $175
CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY
If you cancel your registration more than 24 hours prior to class you may reschedule for another class date at no charge or receive a full refund of the class fee. If you cancel your registration less than 24 hours prior to class or “No Show” at class including attempting to log in too late to be admitted to the class, you may reschedule for an additional $20 administrative fee or receive a refund of the registration fee minus a $20 administrative fee.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – CLASS REQUIREMENTS
In order to participate in the online class you MUST have a computer with video camera, speakers and microphone (headset ok). Laptops, tablets, notebooks, iPads and equivalent often have these built in. Plug in camera/microphone/speaker will work for desktops and other devices that don’t have them built in. You must also have a stable internet connection, ability to access the website joinmyquiz.com/pro, and email access.
For Organizations with more than one attendee per class; please be aware that each attendee must have a separate computer and email address to participate in the class and take tests.
